These are all the guys I would trade away if I were to be Rockets GM. (PART 2)

In my mind it's pretty simple: Rockets would be a fire sale.

Wall would be my first move. It's on that needs to be done. He's been great and patient and deserves to be traded asap. It would be quickly followed by EG.

I would flip some of the assets for the Wall deal for some young guys, including Vanderbilt, and some cap space (much needed). As for Bledsoe its simple: I'd rather trade him in 2023 or the offseason. He'd be an expiring and I would like to avoid taking on longer term deals for him.

I would do a straight Gordon for Rubio and a pick. Major cap room again.

My next move would be to move Christian Wood. I would immediately try make a play for Wiseman. He's not been playing this season and the Warriors have been great. To add a near all star player in Wood would, in my opinion, help elevate their title contention. Now my initial ask would be for Wood to go to GSW for Wiseman, a 2025 lightly protected frp and cap filler, but hindsight gave me the benefit of realising that Golden State's cap filler is all really integral to their team. So I decided to max out our value and get better value in return. Tate is definetly a guy who could be a starter on a championship team. Just watch a game of his and you'll understand why. He just does everything right. That, couple with his immensely low salary made it work really well to also add Kuminga.

Next I would work to admonish Theis. I can't stand him for the rockets. Seems like a great dude and is a quality NBA player, but he just doesn't fit out team at all. A straight swap for him and Bagley has always enticed me, but I don't think Sac do that. That being said, I think Theis plus 2 seconds gets the job done. Bring in Dallas. The rockets have a really good role 3 and D wing in Nwaba. They also have Augustine who I'm not high on but I know some people like. Dallas have just overpaid for Bullock, so a trade of Bullock for those 2, and the inclusion of 2 srp's helps push the Bagley deal through as well as reduced the amount of players the rockets have to pay.

The rockets leave these deals with a MUCH younger team with a much higher upside long term.

Bullock and Bledsoe are the only 2 guys I'd feel in need of making another move with in the Off-Season or following seasons, and I'd let the rest of the young guys try figure it out with the addition of a few overpaid RFA'S an unrestricted vets in the Off-Season.

The rotation:

Pg: KPJ, Bledsoe

Sg: Green, Josh Christopher

Sf: Kuminga, Bullock, Garuba

Pf: Sengun, Vanderbilt

C: Bagley, Wiseman

Let me know what you guys think! I'm really keen to hear your thoughts! :)
