Portland would be getting a good balance of win-now talent (Simmons, Porzingis, Sexton, and Bogdanovic) and future assets (Reddish, Maxey, picks). A starting 5 of Sexton, Bogdanovic, Reddish, Simmons and Porzingis with Simmons facilitating would allow this team to have shooters at every position, so if Simmons draws the double team in the paint, he has options on the perimeter. Sexton and Bogdanovic provide secondary play-making opportunities in the starting lineup, and both are capable of creating their own shot as well. A defensive front court of Reddish, Simmons and Porzingis features two players (Simmons and Reddish who can defend both the perimeter and interior very well. And with Porzingis holding down the middle, this team should fair very well defensively.

Off the bench, the Blazers would have Maxey and Simons in the backcourt. They would have Little and Love in the front court, and hopefully some minutes will go to rookie Greg Brown as well.
