In this scenario, the Packers win the super bowl and Rodgers decides to request a trade. Adams follows Rodgers and also says he's leaving but the Packer franchise tag him as to get value from him. They decide to give up on Jordan Love as well because he hasn't really shown that he can be a starting QB at this level.

Why the Packer would do it: If Rodgers and Adams leave the Packer should go all out on maximizing value in both young players and draft capital. In this deal they get multiple high draft picks to either find a new franchise quarterback or fill out other weak spots on their roster. They also build one of the best defenses in the league with JC Jackson joining Jaire, Stokes, Savage, and Amos to create an elite secondary as well as having Chubb, Gary, and Kenny Clark in the front seven. On top of this they add great young offensive talent in Onwenou and Juedy and they also take a flier on Drew Lock who could be their quarterback if they don't draft one. Overall, this is a best case scenario for the packers if Rodgers and Adams leave as the receive a ton of value to keep them competitive in the short term as well as give them lots of young talent for the future.

Why the Broncos would do it: The Broncos are a team that is looking to compete for a super bowl once again. They immediately put themselves in that conversation with the addition of Rodgers, who could lead them to the next level. They trade away good young talent but have a deep roster and the guys to replace them. The only end up trading away 1 first in the trade as well which is a win for them. Overall, the Broncos have a really talented roster and just need a quarterback. With this trade, they go out and get their quarterback and make a serious push for a super bowl.

Why the Pats would do it: The Patriots are a great defensive team and a solid offensive team but could use an elite playmaker to take their offense to the next level. Davante Adams would immediately give Mac Jones one of the best supporting casts in the league with Adams joining the WR room. Combine that with a great O-line that can make up for the loss of Onwenu and a great defense that will still be good even without Jackson, this Patriots team would also make a big super bowl push if Mac can take the next step forward. They lose some draft capital as well but make up for it with one of the best players in the league.

Why the Steelers would do it: With Big Ben leaving, the Steelers are in need of a new QB. With this deal they take a flier on Love who hasn't been great but still has enormous potential. In this trade, they view Love as a better option than the quarterbacks available in the late second round as they only give up a second. Overall for the Steelers, it is pretty much like spending a second on a quarterback that I feel has more potential than any other QB's that will be available at that spot come draft day.
