Still look great, and their absolute grit against the rams in that insane comeback earns them that spot
Bills
Again, extremely high caliber, and honestly had a very real argument for number 1, especially considering week 1. I decided the eagles had a better overall roster, but if you swapped them I wouldn't be mad. Their game against miami was closer than anticipated but they pulled it out
Chargers
Following a narrow win against the broncos, not to mention the chiefs upset, the chargers have only faced divisional opponents thus far. Next week they play the giants, where I expect they easily cruise to 4-0. Herbert has been maybe the best qb of the season thus far, and they're definitely top 3, but our next team has an argument
Bucs
Wow. They have a huge lead to the jets, but allowed them to make a comeback. Following the bucs field goal being blocked and returned for a td with little time left, tampa was in trouble, especially with Mike Evans having gone down. But Baker was able to lead them down the field and McLaughlin drilled the short field goal. This team is very injured and don't play their best all game, but they play best when it matters as they pull out their 3rd straight game winning score with under a minute, and second with under 5 seconds to go.
Colts
I thought about putting them at 6 and wouldn't be mad at you, but I believe they've earned this spot. Indiana Jones has proved me half right. I always felt like he could be a good qb, but I didnt think it'd work in Indy. Now they're 3-0 after they demolished the dolphins and titans weeks 1 and 3 respectively, not to mention their impressive win against the broncos week 2, dropping 29 points on a top 3 defense. Surprise team of the year so far, let's just hope they're more of the 2024 commanders then 2024 saints.
49ers
This placement is not to say they're a bad team at all, undefeated is undefeated. However, similarly to the bucs, they barely pull out these close wins. This was a hard list, but I decided on putting them here. This is partially because I think they'll really struggle if they play a higher tier team with all of these injuries that they've suffered
