Bobi Klintman is a 6'10" power forward prospect with good physical attributes and smooth athleticism. He has shown promise as a floor spacer, shooting around 37% from beyond the arc. Klintman has solid hands, rebounding ability, and shot-blocking potential. However, he needs to improve his strength and finishing ability inside. He lacks toughness and struggles defensively against physical opponents. Despite his rawness, Klintman's size, shooting, and versatility make him an intriguing prospect with untapped potential.

High-upside prospect if his shot creation manifests. He’s a big, versatile two-way wing with desirable baseline skills.

NBA COMP: Nicolas Batum

Height: 6’10 Age: 20 Weight: 235 Wingspan: 7’0

Stats: 5/5/1/1/1 41/37/74

PLUSES Tantalizing perimeter defender who shows an ability to switch onto smaller players. Even when getting beaten, his length and quick hands allow him to heavily contest shots. In college, he frequently blocked jumpers.

Capable of going coast-to-coast after defensive rebounds. He can spark transition changes and shows tons of flare passing in the open floor.

His flashes of shot-creation skills in the half-court are why he’s drawing some lottery interest despite playing low minutes as a freshman. Wake Forest ran an occasional pick-and-roll for him, like his Under-20 Swedish team did, and he displayed fluid passing off the dribble. He’s capable of making one-handed cross-court kickouts or smooth dishes to cutting bigs at the basket.

Even if he’s not a primary ball handler, his passing vision translates to transition and closeout opportunities. And within the flow of the offense, he tends to make good decisions whipping the ball around the floor.

High-floor player as long as his shooting numbers translate and continue to improve. He’s a good spot-up shooter from all positions behind the arc, with relaxed shooting mechanics, a feel for relocating, and smooth footwork even when catching tougher passes.

MINUSES Getting stronger would also aid his versatility on defense since he tends to get overpowered by stronger players in the post. Being able to play as a small-ball 5 would be of great benefit to his stock.

Needs to improve his lateral quickness so that he can play in a switch-heavy scheme. He gets beaten too often one-on-one because of both improper positioning (showing the player a lane to drive) and a lack of burst when sliding to contain an attack.

Lacks a quick first step or a second gear off the dribble, so he struggles to turn the corner on drives. And his below-average explosiveness in traffic hinders his ability to finish inside despite his size.

He must compensate for his subpar verticality by improving his strength and adding a midrange game with pull-ups and floaters.

Bobi Klintman is one of the more interesting prospects i've watched in my short time evaluating players. He is very fluid and looks experienced, but he is super young and hasn't been playing basketball for very long. Klintman comes in at 6'10 and 225 lbs, but moves quickly and has great vertical ability. Many of the points he scored at Wake came from lobs. His shooting and playmaking are what make him so high for me. He has a mechanically sound jump shot with no real flaws. His shot comes out a little slow, but other than that there aren't any issues with it. He shot 37% from three this year, which was one of the highest for a freshman this collegiate season. Klintman also shows flashes of being a great passer. He doesn't turn it over often, but his patience and creativity with his passing for someone so young is what excites me. Klintman is a huge boom or bust this year, but it is definetly worth using a high pick on him. Klintman could be a star if all goes well.
