OFFENSE Making 1.1 threes and dishing out 4.2 assists per game, he's blossomed into a 6'10" stretch 4 or 5 who can handle the ball, facilitate for teammates His playmaking has been more believable then his jump shot, given his 32.4 percent three-point rate and 57.9 percent free-throw rate. Hawkins still has more convincing to do with his jumper. BUT HE IMPROVED YEAR OVER YEAR

DEFENSE move well defensively (1.4 blocks, 1.1 steals).

Coleman Hawkins is a 6'10 junior. He is a very intriguing prospect with great upside as a shooter and defender. He has very good NBA forward frame and could see him spreading the floor. The problem is that he is probably not skilled enough to do much in the NBA. He is a scrub NBA player at best in my opinion and most likely to the G-league and then overseas. A few small critiques could get him to an NBA caliber player though and many teams would like to give him a shot in the second round I am sure.

A dozen teams would be interested in a 6'10" big who can stretch the floor, pass and move around defensively. There is a second-round gamble worth taking in Hawkins' 37 made threes, 3.0 assists per game and mobility. Oklahoma City Thunder rookie Jaylin Williams would be the player for him to study.
