  • can’t screen

  • doesn’t operate much through the post; avoids physicality if he can

  • draft age

C: good starter

Stretch Big

Really high offensive IQ, very fluid with great hands. He’s also very competitive and aggressive. Would really allow for a range of attack for teams to utilise. Also a very underrated passer. The concern is his rebounding output and rim protection. Can he be a full-time 5 if he can’t control the paint?

Back to the basket big with great touch and even has the ability to step out and knock down a catch and shoot 3. Seems a little clunky for the modern NBA but is a great rim protector and plays his tail off. Should stay in college another year.

Henri Veesaar has emerged as one of the better modern-NBA bigs in the college game right now. Since transferring to UNC he has really developed a nice perimeter scoring package making him an ideal stretch big man. He is efficient in the low post, finishes plays on both ends of the floor well and can facilitate a bit from central parts of the floor. He isn't overly mobile which will limit him and he's not a big shot blocker so his defensive value is quite capped. Most of his intrigue will come offensively and he likely will never be a high quality NBA starting center. The league is always searching for reserve bigs though and one who can space the floor is very valuable.

NBA Comp: Kyle Filipowski
