Older trunky wing that can thrive on and off the ball. Great cutter, proven to be a solid shooter. Able to bully in the post and off the dribble, as well as pull up and get to his spots. Ready to play right now in the league. Worthy of a 2nd round pick as he can be a cheap rotational piece right away in the right situation Some Jacquez to his game

Comp: Max Strus/Saddiq Bey

  • eats up free throws with his strength and physical imposition; also very aggressive attacking closeouts

  • great 3pt shooter; can shoot in movement actions and is best off the catch

  • isn’t the most agile or quick player considering his playstyle; raises question marks for his fit at the next level

  • isn’t a great finisher and notably lacks a left hand

  • isn’t an active passer; negative ast/tov ratio

  • doesn’t project to be great defensively

  • already 24 and has only been a notable prospect in his super senior year

Hgt / WS / SR : 6'5 6'9 8'6 Age : 24

Playable Rating: 2.79 Upside : 3.36

Tier 9 : Roster Depth Piece

Offensive Role : 3 PT Shooter Defensive Role : Off Ball Wing

Translatable NBA Skills :

  • 3 Pt Shooting

Swing Skills:

  • Movement Shooting

  • RIm Pressure

Concerns:

  • Small frame for wing

  • Not a great athlete and an older prospect, minimal upside

Overview: Proven 3pt shooter which can keep him on teams, but don't see much else being impactful. He is strong and has a big frame maybe can attack closeouts and if he becomes a great shooter can add value.

Even if he's older, I just can't discredit the production enough to have him in the consensus range of late second round. I think his frame is enough for him to still adhere to his playstyle of using his strength to get to the basket against small guards. I think he is a clever enough ballplayer to continue to draw fouls and convert free throws at an awesome rate. He was a really good shooter, both creating for himself and in the C&S game. Is it all an illusion of him picking on kids half his age? If he's willing to develop as a role player, there's an NBA career waiting for him.

Solid perimeter scorer with the ability to play off the ball and knock down shots and really has a knack for drawing fouls when he gets to the cup.

His 40 bomb in MM will be forgotten. There’s two outcomes with him. He’s either a quality scorer off the bench or he’s never in the rotation and gives us a random 30pt game last week of the season.

I'm biased, but betting against a very old one-season wonder from the University of Wisconsin seems like a decent wager historically. The shooting is probably real, but is he willing to become a specialist when that's not really how he's used to playing? I doubt it, but we'll see.
