PJ Hall - Clemson (C - HT: 6’8” - WING: 7’2” - WT: 245 - A:

- A versatile offensive big who can just about hold his own defensively
- Great screener and shooter
- Good playmaker with low turnover rate
- Not the biggest, but strong
- Good shot blocker and solid post defender despite his size. Good at staying down with arms high, not biting
- Slow on the perimeter, doesn’t want to get out and contest shots, leading to open looks
- Solid passer but sometimes sloppy with predetermined reads or just sloppiness and creates bad turnovers
- Shades of Dario Saric, Kelly Olynyk, WCJ, Bobby Portis

GSW position : C/PF

Highs: uses his strength to get to the rim, does really well in mismatches (athletes), rebound, can shoot free throws well, defend well enough (gets blocks at times), a nice rim protector

Lows: needs to learn how to pass from the post, fouls and turnovers has to go down at times, has a problem at times of going against bigger guys (have to get nba strong but is pretty strong right now), the 3 has to be better to be all the way dangerous, has a problem with athletes as well, will have a problem with centers in the NBA he will be a 4 most of the time to contribute so shooting has to be better, has to control his fouling

This is my first choice with our first second round pick. At the college level in second round, I like players who executed well at the college level and do not like taking projects so late in draft. In the second round, I ignore age. Mainly because I do not have the skill to find a Manu or Jokic in late draft lol. If we traded out of the final second round pick, this would be my guy I want to make sure we get. He is a good defender, shooter, and pretty athletic.
