Old school back to the basket bruisuer with awesome touch and a great post bag. Gread rebounder and moves solid for his huge stature. Biggest question mark is how he will translate as someone only effective right around the basket. Doesn't translate well as a big to chase around modern bigs outside of the 3 point line.

  • Good scorer

  • Anchor on defense

  • Extremely physical

  • Works well with another big, twin tower kind of big

  • Great mid-range jumper

  • Great at scoring inside

  • Solid Rebounder

  • DO NOT switch him on defense

  • Not a playmaker

  • I think he's the best big coming out of Michigan this year

  • Comp: Jonas Valanciunas / Marc Gasol

  • Ceiling: ALL-STAR

  • Floor: Bench

  • Expectation: Starter

  • What to Expect: Great starting center on both sides of the ball

Goldin is a very big and imposing center with a lot of length to really be bothersome on defense. He's shown over his collegiate career that he is a functional anchor, and is a clever shot blocker. He is skilled on offense and can function in a variety of schemes. His finishing is efficient enough for me to believe in a pretty high floor for him.

He's huge, but I think he's a lug. And a lug should rebound better than this. Without that foundational big man ability, I'm less interested in the possibility of him shooting 3s.
