Upsides
• Highly talented shot blocker, he uses his length and incredible timing to embarrass any player the dares to take a shot in the paint when he is around
• Very weird, but capable switcher on defense. He moves surprisingly well on his feet for a 7 foot tall human being and he is good at using his length to contest shots outside of the paint
• Just a really smart basketball player in general, he doesn’t make mistakes very often and makes good decisions on both ends of the court on basically every single play
• Good passer. I wouldn’t necessarily call him a hub offensively, but he makes good reads and is good at executing on his passes
• Great finisher around the rim. He can finish plays with either hand and contact doesn’t ever seem to bother him
• He’s shown a lot of promise as a 3-point shooter. He is very willing to take 3s and is capable of making them
Downsides
• We have a much smaller sample size this year with him than we do with other prospects, so it’s been more difficult to evaluate his game
• He has trouble dealing with stronger players on both ends of the court, he can be outmuscled pretty easily (although he usually makes up for it with his ridiculous length)
Conclusion
will add scouting report soon
