I’m happy to debate on any of these takes.. I’ll do 4 takes that I truly do believe.
1.Cade Cunningham should win MVP this season
Cade right now seems like the #3 guy. But sga shouldn’t get another fraudulent MVP so it goes to Jokic right? WRONG!👺 Jokic has won 3 so if it’s anything like Giannis they get bored of voting for him (voters fatigue) and vote for Cade. Cade has players like an MVP this season bringing Detroit back to the glory days.
Cade has been an underrated defender this season as well averaging 2.4 stocks this season. 🧌 Detroit has been able to win games without shooting because of Cade’s leadership and ability to find the open man.
Bill Russell is the most overrated player OAT
Bill Russell was not the best player on those C’s teams. He was carried by others stars like Bobrika Cousifer the 3rd and John Heavy-Check . He was a great defender but really just glorified Ben Wallace. The only reason he is viewed as a top 10 player is cause he got more rings. If anyone else got more rings on that team they’d be viewed as better.
3.Kareem is not a top 10 player OAT
Kareem is widely viewed as a top 5 player OAT but I think he’s in the 10-20 range. Why? Because he had NO competition. When you think of the great players in the 70s you think of guys like Dr J, George Gervin, Moses Malone and guys like that who all were in the ABA. Who else is getting MVP other than Kareem?
Kareem played against bums and had no one else to compete against. He spammed one move over and over. Put him in today’s NBA and he is getting swatted by Vic.
4.Bobby Portis is the best sixth man ever
Bobby Portis has provided his teams with exceptional help off the bench through his effort he has become a fan favorite with the bucks as he carries the bench unit while being forced to play with bums like Kile Kizma. If that’s not greatness idk what is.
