I’m not saying that Philly didn’t absolutely win this trade. What I am saying is the return for the trade isn’t that bad. Paul George though he has the injury problems when healthy is still a 20 ppg player and if Boston can maximize pg without hurting him again then they still have a 2 year finals window, expecially with Tatum fully healthy now and much needed roster improvements. And the 2 firsts include a pick that assuming the 76ers aren’t horrible (bottom ten) in the 2028 season and the clippers are then they get the clippers first round pick. Clippers are ahh and most of the reason I want to make this post is just to rant on how ahh the clippers are but they might genuinely be the worst constructed roster besides only the kings now. They are quite literally the bulls a few years ago with a gaurd that needs usage to thrive and a wing that also needs usage and shoots mostly middys. They also have an old stretch big center that used to be an all star but now isn’t good. Assuming wagler isn’t the goat or smth then clippers are gonna be bad and theoretically Jaylen brown alone is gonna make the 2028 76ers better then the 10th worst nba team not including a developing vj and maxey and a vet on the decline but still good Embiid. Philly absolutely won this trade but the Celtics aren’t as stupid as everyone thinks they are.
