Giannis trade: The Bucks trade their star and B.Portis for Randle, Beringer, T.Shannon, P.Williams, Dillingham, 1frp and 5srp.
Turner trade: The Bucks trade M.Turner for Risacher and 2frp.
Why it makes sense for Milwaukee: Giannis's value is always high, but after his various statements to the press, his public trade requests, and his injury history, he's lost some of his value. Therefore, the Bucks absolutely must cash in this offseason before they find themselves with nothing. In this scenario, the Bucks would gain an all-star (Randle), who, if he performs well during the first half of the season, they can trade at the deadline for future picks. They would also gain two young rotation/salary fillers (Williams and Shannon), three promising young players (Dillingham, Beringer, and this year's 15th pick), and 5srp. Obviously, if Giannis is traded, Turner's continued existence makes little sense, which is why his trade is almost a foregone conclusion. In this exchange, the Bucks would obtain the 2024 first pick (Risacher) and 2frp (the 23rd pick in this draft and the worst of the 2027 MIL and NOP picks). These two trades would therefore allow Milwaukee to rejuvenate their roster, increase their draft capital, especially this year's (which is packed with talent), and thus immediately start from a solid foundation.
Bucks first-round draft picks: with no.10 N.Ament, with no.15 H.Steinbach and with no.23 I.Evans.
Why it makes sense for Minnesota: The Timberwolves sacrifice 2 starters and 2 promising young players (also because they don't have any future frp) plus 5srp, but they get Giannis, who would immediately make them a contender.
Why it makes sense for Chicago: The Bulls are buying low on Gobert, even though Gobert is not part of the Bulls' timeline, having a top defender like him can only help the young players by taking some of the responsibilities off their shoulders.
Why it makes sense for Atlanta: The Hawks have two needs, a pg who can lead the offense and a solid defensive and offensive center. By signing Turner, they would solve one of those problems and therefore be able to focus on selecting a guard at No.8 in a draft full of talented pg.
