As the Bucks I would likely use 2027 as a year to be somewhat competitive and feel out the new talent. Than in 2028 (when they would own their own pick) they could embrace the tank and fully develop new talent while staying out of the relegation zone. After getting a solid pick in 2028 the rebuild would be in full swing and the Bucks would be ready to start developing for contention in the 2030’s. With Miami’s picks and their own in the 2030’s, Milwaukee could either trade for top talent or start an even heavier asset rich rebuild in which they could become the OKC or San Antonio of the next decade.
