I DON'T want Chris Paul, like at all, like after we get him (and cash) in this trade we are going to waive him.
But we get cash in this trade, so after we waive CP3, the owners who don't want to spend more on the Bucks unless a trade is coming (it was pretty clear and still is that they want to stay far away from the luxary tax) can now use the cash they just gained to convert Pete Nance's contract into a standard deal.
This way:
CP3 can find a team that actually wants him
Bucks get Pete Nance on a standard deal
Clippers get legend Amir Coffey back for Chris Paul who they will just never use
Everyone, and I mean everyone wins!
