SUCCESS

PG: Josh Giddey SG: Coby White SF: Matas Buzelis PF: Jonathan Kuminga C: Daniel Gafford

Athleticism, young, fast, and flash.

The Draft:

With the 12th Pick the Chicago Bulls select Carter Bryant: Forward, Arizona. This just seems like a realism pick/Bulls pick as a fan. As much as I don't like this pick as to say a Khaman Malauch (which I believe won't be at 12) or a Collin Murray-Boyles this allows Chicago to work on a project type player while establishing their starting center already and forward next to Buzelis.

With the 45th Pick the Chicago Bulls select Joan Beringer: Center, France. Standing at 6'10 The Chicago Bulls select a 18 year old prospect center who can grow behind Gafford, and Collins as this team experiments with the team as is in trying to win as this organization tries again and again.

Free Agency:

Resign Josh Giddey to a 134.4 Million dollar year deal with a 5th year Player option worth 38 Million.

Jonathan Kuminga acquired in Sign in Trade to a 3 year 71.6 million dollar deal.

Trades:

Trade 1 - Nikola Vucevic for Jonathan Kumings and Gui Santos.

Trading Vucevic to a team that wants a center of his caliber may be tricky as the landscape of free agency changes. One that has already been discussed at the deadline was Vucevic to the Warriors. What was reported to hold it up was a first round pick the Bulls wanted. At the time I and many Bulls fans were angry he wasn't traded and being so close to at the time. The Warriors need a big man. Vooch can be that answer. With Kuminga likely to leave in a Sign and Trade and Kuminga to seek long term money the Bulls step up interested as Star Potential is seeping for a team to nurture. Santos hasn't shown much but is primarily included for salary reasons to complete the sign and trade.

Trade 2- Lonzo Ball for Daniel Gafford.

Hello old friend. Daniel Gafford ever since leaving the Chicago Bulls has blossomed. I think they should call and try to get him back. His defense rim protection, toughness was direly needed in that play-in game against the Heat. Especially against Bam. Now a complete ripping of this team seems unlikely but a retool for a 26 Gafford seems good to me. Now Gafford may or may not leave next offseason in this scenario but Chicago is willing to pay him while not giving up much to secure him as well.
