I think this is a pretty realistic deal due to how Caruso's relationship with the city was during his time in Chicago, and OKC needs to start thinking about their financial situation this coming season, especially after last years semi-final exit. Tre Jones fills a role beneficial to OKC and is a good, cheap replacement for Alex while keeping the depth at a high level. Detroit is in need of a backup floor-spacing big, and also sends Chicago picks.

In this scenario, I could see the Bulls trying their best to build up Caruso's value before moving him in the offseason to a more competitive team.
