Yang is widely considered a bust and that grant contract is terrible for the blazers. We trade them a great role player center and take on grants contract to allow the blazers to have some money to work with. Getting Yang will allow Wilson to develop in the 3/4 role and possibly work well with JQ/Steinbach.
