LAL- Nikola Vucevic, Patrick Williams
Why the Bulls do it: They need to get away from Vuc, and Patrick Williams hasn't lived up to his draft position. They get back young nice pieces that they can build around
Why the Lakers do it: They "compete" every year, and this is exactly how they do that this year. They get a defense-centered PF to replace Vandy, and they get a Center, which they've needed since 2020(iykyk)
Free Agency
Resign DeMar DeRozan to a 2 year, 38M Contract
Demar is the best player on the team and Chicago can't lose him yet. He is not showing signs of aging, so taking advantage of it is perfect
Sign Jonas Valunciannis to a 2 year, 32M contract
The cheaper Vuc replacement is perfect, and he could be a better version
