LeBron James with 94% of votes
Obvious pick I agree
Kyrie Irving with 66% of votes
I agree with this. He was drafted by Cavs and got us our first chip. Hit the most clutch shot in nba history to ice that game 7. Went off for 3 straight finals games to come back from down 3-1 including one of the most efficient 40 pieces in finals history. Greatest handles of all-time. Bonafide Hall Of Famer and will be remembered in Cavs lore forever
Kevin Love with 31% of votes
on the fence about this one but I can see why he's #3. His numbers as a 3rd option were elite. He was a huge part of our 1 and only chip and he got the clutch stop on Curry to help ice that game 7. Also second of all-time for points scored in a single quarter, and he did it in a Cavs jersey
Mark Price with 53% of votes
I slightly lean towards having Mark Price at #3 over Love. He doesn't have the hardware, but he was one of our first true star players. Great shooter, elite playmaker and a serial pickpocket. Price was Steve Nash before Steve Nash. Underrated af
Brad Daugherty with 33% of votes + my vote to break the tie
agree with this. One of the first playmakers of his size. His versatile skillset as a big was unmatched at the time. He would thrive in this era of hoops. A true superstar and Cavs legend
Zydrunas Ilgauskas with 47% of votes
On the fence about this. Very close with D-Mitch imo. Neither player has got us to the ultimate goal. Donovan is the better overall player, but Big Z leads the Cavs all-time in blocks and led in rebounds before Lebron. Was also the second option behind Lebron on our 66-win team. Close call
Donovan Mitchell with 86% of votes
Definitely deserves to be either #6 or #7. Hasn't won a chip yet but he's been our best player post-Lebron and has kept us in the playoffs all 4 seasons he's been with us. Has been in the conversation for best shooting guard in the nba every season of his Cavs career. Legendary player. If he gets a chip or even just gets some more longevity as a Cav, he’s a lock for #3 or #4 imo
Larry Nance Sr. with 50% of votes
Agree with this. Defence is about equal to Mobley but Nance Sr's prime clears offensively. Mobley could easily overtake him if he ups his offensive game and/or wins a chip. Nance is also just a bigger name Cavalier right now due to his long stint and prime with Cavs
Evan Mobley with 35% of votes + my vote to break the tie
Agree. Even though he's young, he has won DPOY, multiple defensive first teams and will continue to be in those conversations. Already one of our best defenders of all-time at his young age and he ain't a ghost on offence either
J.R. Smith with 42% of votes
Definitely way more skilled and talented Cavs players out there that maybe should have been #10. I can see the argument for JR though because of the hardware and the great performances/memories he gave us in that playoff/championship run. Not mad at it
