Inspired by Dark_Racer's trade proposal regarding the sale of Don to Atlanta, I have proposed a hypothetical (rather improbable) scenario where Trae Young leaves Atlanta and Hawks are interested in Donovan Mitchell.
Cleveland would initially have no intention of trading Donovan Mitchell, but a hypothetical trade package like the one proposed in this case could make it worthwhile to start an interesting discussion.
The starting five for each franchise involved in the trade would be as follows:
HAWKS:
PG: Jalen Suggs
SG: Donovan Mitchell
SF: Zaccharie Risacher
PF: Asa Newell / Kristaps Porziņģis
C: Onyeka Okongwu
MAGIC:
PG: Trae Young
SG: Desmond Bane
SF: Franz Wagner
PF: Paolo Banchero
C: Wendell Carter
NETS:
PG: Egor Demin
SG: Terance Mann / Cam Thomas
SF: Michael Porter Jr.
PF: Noah Clowney
C: Nic Claxton
CAVS:
PG: Darius Garland
SG: Dyson Daniels
SF: Jalen Johnson
PF: Evan Mobley
C: Jarrett Allen (he could be traded for a 3&D small forward, placing JJ at PF and Mobley at C)
Cleveland's exit from the second apron would allow them greater flexibility in future trades to improve their roster before the trade deadline.
