This is a option for Utah that is a low risk high reward. First off Sexton isn't worth 25 mil,but what if they can get Sexton to sign this contract with a team option on the 2nd year. Utah probably wouldnt agree to this otherwise. Basically Sexton gets paid and more than qualifying offer and possibly 50 mil over two years if he shows out this season and Utah decides to keep him for 25 mil next year. If he doesnt its 25 mil off the books for a rebuild team and they still get 7 picks 2 1sts 4 2nds and a pick swap and its consecutive years for the next 5 years to add onto the picks from Gobert trade.

Cavs simply upgrade Mitchell for Sexton. Nothing else is needed to be said.
