I'm going to explain how Clippers can get this done without adding a 1st round draft pick and leaving all parties happy.
Why would the Cleveland Cavaliers ๐ do this โ๏ธ
Cavs can't get past the 2nd round with this core ๐ฅฒ and it was reported that Donovan Mitchell may want out if they continue to not have playoff success
Garland has been extremely injury prone ๐ค last few seasons only playing 26 out of 51 games this season and has only played 57 games during the 23-24 season
Garland is 6'1 and Mitchell is 6'2, short guard duo's have a tendency to not go very far like Dame and Cj McCollum
last 4 years Garlands production has been fluctuating a lot and has not been on a steady climb as he tries to find his role with this team. In 2022 - 21.6 ppg In 2023 - 18 ppg In 2024 - 20.6 ppg In 2025 - 18 ppg
Harden is currently averaging 25 5 8 and he was able to find success in a role next to scoring guards in the past like with Tyrese Maxey and Kyrie Irving
Cavs are looking to win now with Mitchell on there team and Harden would be a big upgrade in production to boost there team's success ๐
Cavs could also acquire DJJ whose having a career high ppg with 10.4 on an efficient 55/40
DJ has very high IQ ๐ง on defense and would be a great piece for Cavs SF spot as DeAndre Hunter was just previously shipped out
Sharpe would also help Cavs get a young piece back and add a very good rebounding and defensive oriented backup big
Cavs don't need Ball with the Dennis Schroeder trade and Ball has been really disappointing this season for the Cavaliers
What would Cavs lineup look like after this ?
PG:James Harden, SG:Donovan Mitchell, SF:DJJ, PF:Evan Mobley C:Jarrett Allen
With the bench having the likes of Dennis Schroeder, Sam Merrill, Keon Ellis, Jaylon Tyson, Day'ron Sharpe
Why would the Los Angeles Clippers ๐ค do this โ๏ธ
Garland is only 26 years old hasn't reached his prime yet. Meanwhile James Harden is 36 and is close to retirement ๐ฅธ
Clippers need to get younger and don't have have the 1st round picks to do that ๐
Harden also requested a trade, so Clippers don't have much choice but to find him a new home so both sides are happy!

Instead of losing a 1st round pick for Garland they can involve multiple 2nds โ ๏ธ
Add Struss who can replace DJJ, he's an extremely talented 3 point shooter and can help move the ball around
Lonzo can contribute to this team in ways that CP3 couldn't with great defense and still being able to pass at an elite level
They get rid of Bogdan whose consistently recording DNPS for Clippers games and has a big contract ๐คฎ
Why would the Brooklyn Nets ๐ do this โ๏ธ
They have have a great amount of cap space ๐ฐ so they should be more involved in the trade deadline eyeing to take on contracts for picks
This is exactly what OKC and Jazz have done in the past and it just makes sense for bottom feeders ๐ซก
Sharpe is only worth 1-2 2nds give or take and they receive a total of 3 for taking on Bogdans contract as well. ๐ฏ
Would you do this trade โ๏ธโ๏ธ
