Bane not even all Star, but DG is and hes still so young at 25.
Sacramento betting that Donovan mitchell is stifling his growth & they see him as a potential Steph Curry like pg.
Most important he will sell tickets & fans will love ❤️ his alley oops to lavine derozan & sabonis.
Add in some defense w a 25yr Isaac okoro & Dean Wade and Sac could make a run for a top 8 seed & avoid play in.

In this scenario, Cle gets 3x 1st rd picks back & 2x swaps.
Why 2x swaps? Bc Cle traded all its odd year picks to Utah.. this replenish them w 27 spurs, 29 Kings, and 31 minn...
The swaps cle gets are important bc cavs already get like the worst out of 4 other teams.. and though chances are Kings won't be a lottery team, they could be like dal w flagg. Unlikely though. Very unlikely.
Most likely a mid teens pick in 26 & 28 based off swaps.
27 pick is Spurs, w wemby kd & Harper & castle in 2 yrs gonna be high pick..
29 pick from Sac would be best chance at a high pick.
31 minn pick w ANT gonna be high...
So basically Sac trading 5x mid -late 1sts of unknown quantity for a Known Quality who is only 25 and already a 2x all Star.
Bottom line they desperately need this engine. Cle gonna get these assets back...

The pieces are young and have potential.
Keegan Murray is a solid role player. I feel he's an al Horford glue guy type. He wants to win. He may want out of Sac. 1yr TO. Hes only 24..
The Providence guard is 62 and a Def Player. Hes young. 2nd yr on rookie deal. He can play & has Potential.
Then 6th man instant offense Malik monk. Hes 27.
Sacramento may try to pawn derozan on cle at 25mil per w 2 yrs left. He ll be 37. Ill take 27 monk instead. Tho derozan can get buckets & be nice off bench. His mid gm. Aged well 35 yrs now. Ill take monk at 27 bc he fits timeline better & be great bench scorer.
Obviously im saying YES to this deal if I am Cle.

Ultimately it could benefit both franchises. Cle would be able to keep FA, and have more assets to retool or use to pkg & trade.

Cle needs a Def pg who can defend position & facilitate.
The kid from Providence will need time ... but his upside is huge & cle can pkg assets together to get the right fit later.
