For me I think Cavs says yes. All players they trade are tradeable assets and we know they offered “pick heavy” offer, they make sure they get something for Sexton and add two players who play into the defensive scheme.

I’m not sure about the Raptors but adding a young talent like Sexton in exchange for Pascal is just helping them add to the future while adding productivity. They also get Rubio who’s playing really well and the Cavs first round pick coming up.

Philly gives up a lot of role players but add two difference maker with Heild and Siakim. Also get Bagley who wouldn’t mind a fresh start. Also a Cavs future first.

Sacramento gain Curry who can be really productive at a good expiring contract and Green still does his thing some. Maxey obviously gives Sacramento another guard but fits Sacramento timetable and will find his role with Fox and Haliburton and Curry in this scenario. Plus some future Cavs 2nd’s as capital.
