My understanding is S&Ts the trading away team can only take about half the salary back.

I only give the nets two 2nd Rd picks because they have to Niangs salary. Do not say add another 2nd Rd er, I decline it.

Why Nets do it? Minimal additional salary added and they get to swap out DFS for a younger guy with higher ceiling while maintaining a stretch 4 vet and picks.. all wins!

Cavs - by rule of taking only half the S&T salary back they should be able to add someone around the mid level exemption. The Cavs almost need one of the top remaining FAs to make losing Okoro for an older player worth it. Even if you like Mobley and Allen as both taking center minutes... You need a third C in case of injury.

PG Garland, CPJ, Jerome SG Mitchell, Levert, Merrill SF Strus, Tyson, Bates PF Mobley, DFS, Wade C Allen, Precious
