Pelicans get Fox who has struggled but is still has great potential and his speed will help especially once Zion returns. Fox ability to quicken the pace will help give a boost to the young Pelicans. Thompson replaces Hayes in this trade but brings a veteran presence on an expiring contract.
Kings receive a good haul for Fox and Thompson. Just like what Rubio did for the Cavs. I believe he can bring that same cohesion to the Kings while they give Haliburton the starting role. They also receive Hayes and Windler who have both shown potential. Also they receive a protected first and a ton of seconds which I think is fair value with How Fox is playing.
Cavs hate to give up Rubio who’s been great for them and Windler and his potential plus a few seconds but they need another scorer to replace Sextons production and Graham is still young enough to fit in the Cavs current plans. He’s a solid contributor on offense side and doesn’t gives the Cavs much ball movement but will give enough while adding that spark scoring wise the Cavs have been lacking with Collin out.
