The Cavs are not trading their core. The Nuggets are in a position right now where they need to extend Peyton Watson. We know the Cavs have liked Johnson in the past. He would slide in at the 3 seamlessly. I think the Nuggets would get a lot of utility from Strus. They are not dying for size, so they are in a position where they can properly utilize his shooting, playmaking, and tenacity. I think he could slide in as their 2 next to Murray. Cavs also dump Schroder to a rebuilding team and open an opportunity for Proctor.
