Darius Garland is not Steph Curry Cavs fans. Nowhere close. Hes great all Star facilitator & pg that can elevate a team & be a creator. Hes not good off ball though, he hasn't improved there, and his biggest weakness is he is a Def liability in playoffs. And his lackluster off doesn't offset it.

His toe injury got nothing to do w it this year either.

Donovan Mitchell needs ball in his hands in playoffs & them 2x are too small vs big wings. Mitchell has muscles & 6 11 reach. DG just gets bullied. Often then gets in early foul trouble & get flustered. Eventually just stops playing defense afraid to foul. But his offense dont cover his ineptitude on Defense & there is only 1 ball & Donovan mitchell needs ball to create.

It starts w spacing. Moving Mobley to the 5 is a Game changer. JA is great as a anchor & roll guy. He is what LAL desperately want. Other teams do too.

Prob is Mobley is a great lob guy too. But he can do so much more. It's why Myles Turner was never traded. Mobley can hit 3s, roll, pop, and do it all.

Mobley finally has body & muscle to bang w 5s. And he will continue to get stronger like giannis did.

The other issue is the 2nd Apron & death penalty cavs are now in. Moving DG & JA starts process of building the right Defensive team for Mobley & Mitchell.

Suggs is an All nba lock 🔐 defender that is 6 5 & can lock folks down. Hes good enough on C&S 3s, he's improveD. And he can facilitate also. Hes a huge improvement over DG on defense.

If Cavs are moving A 25yr All Star, I AM NOT MAKING THIS TRADE WITHOUT ANTHONY BLACK.

This kid is only 19 or 20.. he may just turn 21 yrs max. Hes a kid. Hes 6 7 and has so much upside as a pg. Think shai Gilgeous-alexander and how he constantly got better. This kid has unlimited potential. I dont make deal without A Black & i also want Pick 16 & a lotto protected 1st in 27.

That's not alot to give up for Orlando Magic who desperately need a facilitator pg like DG at 25, they will be able to hide him on defense & hope that he bulks up & take that's next step. Getting out of Mitchell's shadow and having ball in his hands will make him happy.

Mitchell & DG are both ball dominating ball handlers. Mitchell is far superior at getting his own show w elite athleticism where DG is very shifty & looks to pass first.

Cleveland gets there pg & backup pg , along w pick 16 & a fut 1st in 27 lotto protected.

W pick 16 Cle will look for Backup 5, or Big Wing if that's best available. Trades also an option.
