In my previous post I talked about how little is said about the importance of surrounding Harden with players with efficient three-point pull-ups compared to Harden's pick & roll game.
This was evident in the previous game, given Sam Merrill's performance before the All-Star Game. This leads me to wonder if, for whatever reason, Cavs don't win the ring this year and Mitchell doesn't want to extend his contract in Cleveland, a trade could be arranged with Denver, extending Don's contract and trading him at the 2027 trade deadline?
Below, I present some statistics to reinforce the idea of acquiring Murray:
Top 10 players with the best 3PM
Sam Merrill: 3.5
Kon Knueppel: 3.4

Tim Hardaway Jr: 2.9
Max Christie: 2.5
Isaiah Joe: 2.4
Tari Eason: 2.2
Interpreted as: top 3-point percentage with a minimum of 82 3-point field-goals made per 82 team games by a player in pull up this regular season.
