All joking aside, in a proposed trade for Donovan Mitchell, I would prioritize acquiring a young point guard with potential and a big small forward over draft picks.

If any of these conditions are not met, then the draft package would have to include a lottery pick this year.

Utah Jazz are probably not interested in Donovan Mitchell, but the purpose of this post is to illustrate an attractive framework for Cleveland to remain competitive in Eastern Conference.

Out of curiosity, how big will Keyonte George's contract extension be this offseason?
