Celtics: We get pnr with Gafford, have Aaron Wiggins as a solid rotation guy, also solid on catch and shoot 3’s which we need, and Rui has been linked and can also shoot great. This way, we’d run Payton, JB, JT, Rui, and Gafford out there and go sign/draft a PG, while staying under the tax again.

Mavs: they get DWhite to compliment Kyrie and Flagg. That’s it. Guess they need some frontcourt help but I bet they’d take DWhite in a heartbeat. Also, Derrick gets linked to them every year so might as well happen in this scenario.

Thunder: this was the most tricky as they need to cut 63 million after factoring in Chet and JDubs contracts, so taking on Trey Murphy isn’t that smart. However, they can get off Wiggins and decline Hartenstein, that means they’d still have to lose 25 million, likely through a Caruso/Kendrich Williams, Isaiah Joe trade. They would get queta to replace the lob threat of IHart, decent rim protector whenever Chet is scared to play against Wemby, and he also has a solid push shot.

Pelicans: they’d get the two lottery picks for Murphy, take on a sign and trade for Dort and take Hauser, maybe that isn’t realistic but it would be the best way to get more young help and bring in some established, proven winners. Also, this could help them take on a bigger contract down the line, or just have the flexibility at the very least.

Lakers: Rui coming back isn’t a certainty, and this way they get a solid PF rather than nothing, who has chemistry with Luka. Luka, Reaves, LeBron, PJ, Ayton isn’t bad.
