The Celtics do this to really see if JB can lead a team to championship. First they should sit Tatum for the rest of the year. Nothing good comes from him rushing to come back. Secondly this puts Celtics in the thick of things in a wide open east. The guys they’re getting are in expiring contracts in case you want to move in a different direction the next year to build around Tatum and Brown. Brown has played himself into the MVP race and deserves a shot.

The bulls have wasted these guys. They should’ve been traded a long time ago. Now their deals are expiring and they have to trade them or lose them for nothing. This is a decent return for them ad they’re getting back a swap and solid pieces like Walsh and Simons. Walsh and Giddy playing on and off ball together running the court would be nasty.
