Jazz look at this deal for three reasons. First they lose talent and help them get better for the Flagg lottery. Second they get a veteran point guard to run with Markkanen and hopefully Flagg next year. Third is they get draft capital which is what they're wanting to rebuild.

Celtics take this deal for a couple reason. The biggest prize is Kessler, he's the future starting Center and can also back up right now Porzingis or can be next to him if we need to go big. Sexton becomes either the starting point guard with White or you let Pritchard take the starting role. I rather have Pritchard with the second unit. Clarkson also boost our second unit which is needed right now with the little slump of Hauser and Pritchard. This trade puts the Celtics in a way better position to repeat.
