Utlizing the about half of the TPE, We send out Svi, who the Jazz might want to give a shot to see if they can get a solid role player out of him (he's proven he can do that in the past) Aswell as stevens, who unfortunately just isnt going to be able to fit in our lineup. Specifically, we match the amount of players we send out to preserve our open roster spot. Should we do this, we can sign Neemias Queta off of his Two-Way Deal. Not sure exactly what happens with the remainder TPE, but we could possibly use either the 1.7 Mil TPE or whatever is left over from the 6.3 Mil TPE, im not sure exactly what the ruling is.

Our needs: Reliable, Dominant, Backup big who can just go out there and lockdown the paint when KP isnt on, and a reliable wing that can take the load off of guys like Tatum, JB, and Hauser.

Why we should get Drummond: KP is obviously gonna need alot of nights off, especially when we dont need him to play. We saw that last night vs the heat, when he went to the locker room with an ankle injury, and then walked out just fine, no limp or anything, but didnt go back into the game. We've also seen it on the 2nd end of b2b games. Point is, I think we need someone who can really lighten the load for him. Sure, Horford is great for his role. But he's older, and will probably need some load management himself. Plus, he tends to provide a little more at the 4 than he does at the 5. Thats where drummond comes in. He's someone that can come in and start at the 5 slot, and give you starting caliber minutes, or come off the bench and give you elite minutes while KP is off. He also fixes one of (in my opinion) our biggest deficiencies, which is rebounding. Drummond is someone I prefer even over a wing. As great as they have been at times, I dont Kornet and Queta would have near the impact Drummond would on this team.

Why we should get Fontecchio: Great fit. Dudes a lights out three ball shooter and would excel insantly in our offense. Ill give examples below, but you can run both small ball lineups with him at the 4 and tall ball lineups with him at the 3 with your bench dudes. He and hauser can co-exist aswell. He is also a solid enough rebounder and has more of an inside game than hauser does, I feel like. But again, Hauser and him can both co-exist off of the bench, and he gives you more versatility in terms of matchups.

Why the other teams do this: Move on from dudes on expiring deals in exchange for minimum guys that they can either waive or just let walk in Free Agency with no regret. They also get solid draft capital, as we all know the stock of 2nd Round Picks are rising each and every year.

Here's some lineups/rotations:

Rest of the Regular season lineup When fully healthy: Jrue

DWhite

JB

JT

KP

  • bench -

Al Horford/Drummond - 6th and 7th

Payton Pritchard - 8th

Hauser/Simone Fontecchio - 9th and 10th

Oshae Brissett/Neemais Queta/Luke Kornet - 11th

A potential Playoff Rotaton:

Jrue/Dwhite/Pritchard

Dwhite/Pritchard

JB/Hauser/Fontecchio

JT/Horford/Fontecchio

KP/Drummond/Kornet/Queta

If I'm stevens, this is the deal im zeroing in on. Its cheap, and you're improving your overall depth/roster insantly. Like, Comment, whatever else im supposed to say here, and please leave feedback. Go Celtics
