10 OFFERS FOR YOU
So… after losing 5 first-round picks, I think it’s fair to say the Clippers fanbase might want to start looking for a new home.
Don’t worry, I’m here to help.
I’ve looked around the league and found 10 fanbases that might be willing to take you in.
Some are upgrades.
Some are questionable.
And some are basically the same suffering with a different logo.
Let’s get into it.
OFFER #1 — LOS ANGELES LAKERS 🟣🟡
This one is pretty simple.
The real team in LA.
You get to stay in Los Angeles, make a well-deserved upgrade and finally stop worrying about this whole “rivalry” thing.
And as the greatest center of all time said:
“There’s no rivalry if they always win.”
So Clippers fans, you don’t even have to move.
You just have to make the obvious choice.
Same city. Better team. Easy upgrade.
OFFER #2 — OKLAHOMA CITY THUNDER ⚡️
Honestly, you guys have a right to this one.
You literally created OKC.
That Paul George trade basically helped build the team they have today.
So I think Clippers fans have earned the right to join the OKC fanbase and finally enjoy the team they helped create.
You get a young team, a ridiculous amount of talent and a future that actually looks good.
Your third-best player is an All-NBA player. 😭
So yeah…
You helped build them. You deserve to be happy with them.
Come home.
OFFER #3 — SAN ANTONIO SPURS ⚫️⚪️
This one looks good on paper.
Young team.
Very talented.
Probably going to be dominant for years.
But honestly?
It doesn’t really fit your DNA.
You’re Clippers fans.
A young team with a bright future that could dominate for years…
I don’t know if that lifestyle is really for you. 😭
You’re used to something a little different.
So maybe we skip this one.
OFFER #4 — SACRAMENTO KINGS 👑
This one might actually feel familiar.
The Kings are basically the Clippers…
except they still have their first-round picks. 😭
So if you want to stay miserable, stay depressed and spend every offseason saying:
“Next year we’ll draft someone really good.”
then Sacramento is perfect.
Same hope.
Same suffering.
Same “maybe next year.”
Just with a few more draft picks.
Honestly, it’s a seamless transition.
OFFER #5 — WASHINGTON WIZARDS 🧙♂️
This one is easy.
You’ve got one of the nicest young cores around — AJ Dybantsa, Trae, Sarr and plenty of other young talent.
Young team.
Lots of potential.
Fresh rebuild.
Sounds pretty good, right?
Well…
Don’t get too excited.
They’re still the Wizards. 😭
So if you want a young team with potential and the familiar feeling that absolutely nothing might go right…
Washington could be the place for you.
OFFER #6 — DETROIT PISTONS 🏀
You’ve got Cade Cunningham, a long roster and a pretty solid young team.
But let’s not act like Cade is going to play like God every single night. 😭
After last season, I also wouldn’t expect another miracle.
Unless Detroit adds another star next to him, they could still struggle to even make the top 9.
But hey…
If you want a young team, a star to believe in and just enough uncertainty to feel comfortable…
Detroit might work.
OFFER #7 — BROOKLYN NETS 🗽
Now this one actually makes a lot of sense.
Young team.
A lot of cap space.
A lot of draft picks.
And potentially one of the best positions in the league to make a huge move when the next superstar becomes available.
And if Jokic doesn’t re-sign with Denver, Brooklyn could absolutely be one of the teams in the conversation.
Sounds perfect.
Right?
Well…
Don’t get your hopes up too much. 😭
Because right now, that’s still just a fantasy.
But hey, Clippers fans should be pretty experienced with believing in things that probably won’t happen.
OFFER #8 — MILWAUKEE BUCKS 🦌
Okay…
This is basically two desperate fanbases looking at each other.
The Bucks don’t have many picks.
Neither do the Clippers anymore.
But Milwaukee actually has a pretty nice and underrated young core.
Is this an upgrade?
Probably not. 😭
But maybe one day Giannis comes back to save them.
Maybe.
Who knows.
Not exactly the best offer, but at this point you can’t be too picky.
OFFER #9 — CHARLOTTE HORNETS 🐝
Honestly?
This one isn’t bad.
Around $50M in cap space, a ton of draft picks and a genuinely interesting young core.
I can actually see Charlotte becoming competitive in the next year or two.
There’s talent there.
There are picks.
There’s flexibility.
But…
I just don’t trust Charlotte. 😭
They seem way more experienced with basketball’s biggest cases of “what the hell is going on?” than actually building a contender.
Still…
You never know.
Not a bad offer, Clippers fans.
OFFER #10 — PHILADELPHIA 76ERS 🔵🔴
Okay.
This one is personal.
And honestly, I think it’s probably a small upgrade.
You’ll be competitive most years.
You’ll have expectations.
You’ll have stars.
And then, every year, you’ll get your yearly cold shower. 😭
Because let’s be honest:
We all know the second-round exit is somewhere around the corner.
And when it happens?
Trust the Process.
The Process never really ends.
But honestly…
that’s the fun part.
Every year you convince yourself:
This is the year.
This is the roster.
This is the run.
This time the second round won’t be the end.
And maybe it won’t.
But if it is?
We’ll just run it back and say “next year.” 😭
So Clippers fans, if you’re looking for a new home…
I’m personally offering you a spot in Philadelphia.
It might not be perfect.
It might not even be a massive upgrade.
But at least you’ll never run out of hope.
Come join us.
The Process is waiting for you. 🫡
SO, CLIPPERS FANS…
10 offers.
10 possible new homes.
And unfortunately…
only 5 first-round picks left to cry about. 😭
Choose wisely.
Your new fanbase is waiting.
