Well for start for those who do not know today Los Angeles Clippers have announced that Paul George has left the team, this has been because the board has considered that they did not want to offer him a 4 year contract so PG has decided to go for his money to Philadelphia, in addition to this it has been announced that the Clippers are looking to trade PJ Tucker and Russell Westbrook, it has also been announced the renewal of James Harden and the signing of Kevin Porter Jr.

On the Paul George issue I totally agree with the board and the decision taken, I don't think PG deserved that 4 year contract and although it is true that the best thing would have been to have traded him in a sign and trade to the Golden State Warriors, according to insiders reports it seems that the Warriors were not willing to trade Kuminga for George so I think it is correct to not have traded him if this was the case. Adding to that I have been a big fan of PG but these playoffs he has made it clear why he is not a player that deserves that contract and after the comments PG has made on his podcast about not caring about winning etc I will not miss him.

Jumping to the next point, the renewal of James Harden this has been a total success, renewed for 70M 2 years we are left with the third sword of the team although it is true that the PO that has the year that well scares me a little.

Continuing with something that was expected, and this is that the Clippers are looking for trades for PJ and Russ, it seems normal now that we dont have PG we have to get rid of their salaries because they do not have minutes in this squad, I feel sorry for Russ because I think his vibe and attitude that he brought were really fantastic for the team but the same as with PG after these playoffs the thing was clear, he was out.

And last but not least, the surprising and at the same time disgusting news that the Clippers have signed Kevin Porter Jr, for those who do not know this person, if you can call it that, last year was arrested for domestic violence after beating his girlfriend, which he choked and fractured several vertebrae. That being said I think the board needs to give answers as to why we look like a halfway house for players who are literally either abusers or perverts.

Having said all this I would also like to share, in my opinion, what the direction of the team should be, I think the team needs to look for moves and to start these I think our main goal would be to bring Klay Thompson to the team, I don't think there is any other team that can offer him anything better than the Clippers (starting position and money). I also think it would be interesting to move Russ and Powell in exchange for positive assets, that is, either players that contribute to the rotation or picks and after that I think the last thing to do is to strengthen the second unit mainly by signing forwards and a backup center, my main targets would be: Isaiah Hartestain, James Wiseman, Goga Bitadze, Xavier Tillman, Daniel Theis at the center position and at the forward position would be: Derrick Jones Jr, Kelly Oubre Jr, Gordon Hayward, Precious Achiuwa or Dario Saric.
