Honestly, I don’t really think this punishment makes sense.

If Ballmer and the Clippers’ front office messed up, punish them. Suspend them, fine them, whatever. But why punish the fans and the future of the team too?

I can understand taking away 2 first-round picks, but 5?? Come on bro 😭

You’re basically affecting the Clippers for years because of something the owner did. The fans had nothing to do with it.

And the crazy part is that in 5-10 years, there could be completely different players, coaches and even people in the front office. Why should they pay for someone else’s mistakes?

Punish the people responsible, but don’t completely destroy the team’s future.
