We give up our top two centers for the bad Poeltl contract, plus an additional FRP and 3 SRPs. Toronto getting a spacing big, even one as old and slow as Brook Lopez, could really open up the offense, especially in the playoffs. In a subsequent move, we send DG over to Orlando for Suggs, Black, a protected first, and a second. It is a tall price for DG, but he was awesome for us last year, shooting over 40% from 3 and running the offense post-Harden. Orlando desperately needs that playmaking guard and increased spacing, justifying this price in my eyes. Suggs is on a big contract for his relatively low availability, which is why they throw in Anthony Black as well. Athony black is the real gem of this deal, but he is in a contract year, so we would have to throw him the bag this offseason.

On a final note, I think that Anthony Black and Keaton Wagler would make for an awesome backcourt of the future but it is probably wishful thinking from a distraught fan atm.
