This entire scenario operates under the assumption that a disgruntled Kawhi Leonard wants to make the Finals (possibly with the Heat) and realizes the curse of the Clippers. Paul George wants to stay in LA because it is his home; here he can keep his current life in L.A. while being on a big three that is in my opinion the best in the league. Kuzma and Horton-Tucker are the return; the Clippers need to try to protect their upcoming picks owed to OKC. Clippers young core has THT, Kuzma, Zubac and Kennard, which may not have that primary superstar but it feels like a DLo-era Nets type of scenario. Stars can easily be acquired in Free Agency these days and by trading veterans like Marcus Morris, Rajon Rondo, etc. they can clear up cap space in the near future to do so. This is unlikely but an interesting scenario nonetheless.
