Clippers only does this trade if Simmons will be their playmaker at the center spot. Hartenstein was it and they traded for Plumlee for their play making so why not get a big who could actually play make. He’s not good anymore but he could still defend rebound and play-make. Clippers than could possibly trade for a low end PG what I mean about low end is a cheaper value Point guard like a Monte Morris or Sign Kemba or any low value play making point guard maybe Corey Joseph or someone like that.

I know with how people on this site undervalue Clippers players they will say why are the Nets giving up so much and that the Clippers should give up more and picks for Simmons because he’s a good player.
