The Clippers have been surging lately and they desperately need another scorer, especially when Kawhi is out. They trade John Collins off in a 1 on 1 trade and get Anfernee Simons who can be either your starting SG or your sixth man.

The Celtics are a little weak at the C position and desperately need to add more depth if they plan to make a deep run. Collins comes in as a short term answer to help them in this second half of the season and in the playoffs.
