East (contenders)

1. Cleveland Cavs - east is wide open and they are healthy, they continue to get better and i dont really see a possibility that they are below a 3 seed.

2. Philadelphia 76ers- this is my biggest hot take but with the east being wide open and if they can stay healthy, this is one of the teams to beat, they got everything you need in scoring, passing, defense and rebounding.

3. New York Knicks- only reason that philly is higher is because of how they still dont have a coach. good team but the front office is struggling right now and even if they do get a coach, their bench isnt strong enough to make it to the finals.

East (pretenders,people say are good, they are not)

4. Orlando Magic- I love this magic team but there is no way that they make it if they only have desmond bane as their good shooter. also their point gaurds are not point gaurds at all and do not know how to get assists and make plays.

5. Detroit Pistons- There is nothing really bad about them but I just gotta give them 1 or 2 more years because we have still not seen peak cade and if ausar can develop a shot then they are gonna be scary.

6. Milwaukee Bucks- They got Giannis, they got Dame and they got Kuz??? This team seems decent but they can never get anything done. Dame is going to out for a long time and just Giannis with those guys is not it. Also with the trade rumors, I feel like something might cause problems behind the scenes.

East (Play-in contenders)

7. Atlanta Hawks- We have seen Trae Young carry a team to the eastern conference finals and I really do like all these defensive guys around him and that Porzingis trade helps a lot. I can see this team becoming really scary and but I just do not seem them as a contender.

8. Charlotte Hornets- all depends on health, we got a new front office and trainers so we should be better. The Hornets can win games and if we stay healthy for the majority of the season, we might be able to break our playoff streak.

9. Boston Celtics- they got rid of jrue holiday, porzingis and tatum is out for the season. Not to mention that derrick white and jaylen brown are in conversations to get traded. This has just been a horrendous offseason for them.

10. Indiana Pacers- Haliburton will be out for most of the year but i still can see the pacers doing something and winning some games.

11. Chicago Bulls- You can look at this team and say, "no way they are going to be a top 10 seed" but it just feels like a gaurentee that the bulls make the playin. they always find a way.

12. Miami Heat- Bam is in trade conversations and it all depends on if he gets traded or not.

13. Toronto Raptors- this is a decent roster and i can see them being as high as a 7 seed but i still think it will be 1 more year.

East (No way Jose)

14. Washington Wizards- i like the direction but u still got 1 more year

15. Brooklyn Nets- I like the direction but which way is it going again???

West (Contenders)

1. Oklahoma City Thunder- Reigning champs and they are still super young and continue to get better. do i need to say more?

2. Houston Rockets- 2 seed last year and then they now get KD???? this is insane!

3. San Antonio Spurs- The spurs were good until Wemby got hurt, now they have De'Aaron Fox and a better roster around. They should be very good. I am fine if they go to the next tier though.

West (Good team but not a contender nor pretender)

4. Los Angeles Lakers- I think they could be a contender but they got no center, until the lakers get a center, they will be in this tier.

5. Dallas Mavericks- Looking back i actually like the trade for both teams and the mavs roster is looking good. If they can get CP3 too then this will be great. Only reason they are not contenders is because kyrie will be hurt for a while and probably come back right before playoffs and might not be the same. They also need a PG

6. Denver Nuggets- I would put them in pretenders but yall got Jokic so i cant.

West (Pretenders)

7. Memphis Grizzlies- I like them but i just see injuries or a trade in the future. They are good and have a deep roster but im not sure if they can win it all.

8. Minnesota Timberwolves- Pretender, pretender, pretender. Ant is good but if he has an off night, they cant do anything. Randle is their but i see last years playoffs as a 1 time special.

9. Los Angeles Clippers - I like this team for the regular season but they cant get past the 1st or 2nd round in the playoffs.

10. Golden State Warriors- Warriors fans dont get mad but everyone is getting older and looney or post or jackson-davis (whoever is at center) is not it, and dont tell me draymond is carrying u as the starting center to the championship cuz he is not. we all know playoff jimmy but it might be over sooner or later.

West (Play-in contenders)

11. New Orleans Pelicans- they have had a great offseason so far and all they need is to stay healthy which is a huge need.

12. Phoenix Suns- this offseason is going to be huge, they got to get rid of beal or jalen green if they want to be good.

13. Portland Trail Blazers- Actually not a bad team and i like what they have done so far with jrue holiday. This could be a sneaky team to watch.

14. Sacramento Kings- I like them but it is just such a difficult conference right now.

West (No way jose)

15. Utah Jazz- still gotta give them 3 or 4 years.
