Hip Hop/Rap Album Collabs I'd Love to See Happen

Kendrick Lamar & JID

IMO, K Dot and JID are the best rappers at storytelling. They just have bars on top of bars and are very poetic artists. This aspect of songwriting can easily be seen in projects like TPAB, The Never Story, The Forever Story, and good kid, m.A.A.d. city, just to name a few. I'd imagine this album to be a little more chill rap, more focused on lyrics than making a catchy, hype beat to get you moving. Maybe like one or two songs that'd be played for a moshpit, workout playlist, etc. SO EXCITED FOR THE JID/METRO BOOMIN ALBUM COMING OUT THIS YEAR!

Key Glock & Gunna

Both of these artists are good at chill rap, writing about life in the hood, and bragging about their rich life in their lyrics. I think these two artists could work well together and make a nice, late night driving vibe type of album. Some examples of the vibe I'm thinking of are One of Wun, Wunna, Glockaveli, HOFFA, and DS4EVER. COMMENT BELOW IF YOU'RE SEEING KEY GLOCK ON TOUR!

Lil Baby & Armani White

Lil Baby recently released WHAM, which has been a huge hit, translating over to a world tour. Armani White, imo, has the most untapped potential of any rapper right now. He has a couple well known hits like BILLIE EILISH, and recently CUT THE LIGHTS, but more fire songs that are more unheard of. These songs, imo, are straight heat, but still unheard of, "diamonds in the rough" if you will:DIAMOND DALLAS, MILLION CASH, and BILLIE EILISH(Legends Remix). The only thing I can see stopping this combination from working really well would be market size. Lil Baby has far more monthly listeners, concerts, merchandise options, songs, albums, than Armani White, you name it. Lil Baby is just simply a bigger artists with more success, but I still think these 2 could produce an amazing album together.

Tyler the Creator & Future

Tyler and Future have multiple essential albums known around the world, and have sold thousands and thousands of vinyls, if not millions by now. Both of these artists have their own distinct takes on hip hop, which I think could make a very interesting project if they worked together. I think Tyler's genius in instrumentals and Future's ability to make a song so memorable could easily make a hit album together.

Drake & J Cole

This would either be amazing, or terrible, but just dream of this. Drake & J Cole collab to come back at K Dot for the diss tracks and retake the throne of hip hop rn. I realise J Cole left the beef early, which was honestly smart, because it was after he left the scene that Lamar dropped Not Like Us which pretty much won the rap battle. Either way, Drake and J Cole are both revolutionary rappers have dropped classics throughout the decades. This would instantly go viral and you can't really deny it. I tbh wouldn't be too excited to hear this one, but just like what if it happened yk?

GELO & Metro Boomin

GELO has gone viral with Tweaker and he's proven he's got the flows and bars. Metro is an incredible producer and artist making music with multiple rappers, for multiple movies, and has one of the most iconic producer tags. I think GELO would be able to make a household name for himself if he collorated with Metro and Metro would be able to benefit by showing he's not just the best tool in the toolbox, but he can be his own artist and write hits himself without "needing help" from so many other artists and like being their sidekicks in a way.

Jelly Roll & Moneybagg Yo

Jelly Roll has quickly made a household name for himself ever since he got out of prison, collaborating with lots of artists across multiple genres including Brandon Lake, Lainey Wilson, and Wiz Khalifa. Country and Hip Hop have always made classic mashups, more recently in All the Way and WHISKEY WHISKEY. I believe Moneybagg Yo could be Jelly Roll's gateway into making some hip hop hits and expand his range of listeners covering both hip hop and country music. Moneybagg Yo would significantly benefit not only from the music, but the pure NIL of an artist like Jelly Roll.

Lil Durk & Morgan Wallen

I can't lie, like I love every hip hop song with Morgan Wallen. These 2 artists have collaborated before and Wallen isn't any stranger to hip hop. These 2 have had success with music separately and together, which is why I think it's about time they make an album together.

BigXThaPlug & NLE Choppa

These two could effortlessly make some of most hype songs of the year imo. They're both good artists and could make some straight heat. These rappers have little, to some experience in slower, more chill hip hop, but hopefully they'd be able to put their minds together to create a couple hits in that area of hip hop too with statement pieces to the song like Alecia Keys, SZA, Camila Cabello, etc. I'd imagine the hype songs to be close to albums like SPEAK NOW, SHOTTA FLOW, and THE LARGEST, while the more chill, slow hip hop songs could be competitors of Luther, All the Stars, Fireworks, Gorgeous, etc.

Comment any of your ideas for album collabs, hip hop or not, what do you think of mine? Anybody I missed?
