In this mock, you will draft 1 all time player into your team, then it will just be a normal mock, where there will be tradings, drafting, FAs
This mock will be a 2 year mock, hopefully we can finish it within 1 month
As this time im not in holiday, i need to be facing sku works together with the mock, a lot of things will be simplified, to lessen my work load on mocks, so pls understand that, and i might not be active always, most likely weekdays 5pm-1am HKT (calculate what time it is for you yourself), weekend doesn’t affect much
Drafting of Legends:
It will be just a 1 round drafting
Draft order will be according to this week’s NBA power ranking
Every team will have their drafting time 2 hrs apart, so if you already know that you can’t be here, pls send out a draft board first so you can still get the Legend you want
If you aren’t here, or didn’t make the pick in time, i will pick it for you, but you might not be able to get the legend you want
Legends are from All Time Teams, so it will be their best version
Current NBA players are all excluded, you can only draft retired players
I’ll waive the lowest value guy in your team to open up the roster spot for the Legend
Pls check if the legend you want to pick is in 2k, for example Charles Barkley and Reggie Miller is just not in 2k for some reason. If you picked one of them and i can’t instantly tell you they’re not in their game, you got NO PRIORITIES on picking again instantly, you will automatically fall back to the last pick of the draft, after everyone finish their drafting
Also, the contracts are a bit complicated, but i’ll give the ratio of the Legend’s contract, so for 95-99 overall their contracts are from 22M to 29M, meaning that if ur Legend is closer to 99 overall, you will get the Legend’s salary closer to 29M
To my observation no one exceed 30M, except Kobe, about 33M for salary
So maybe the trades involving legends won’t work instantly, but feel free to send me the deal first, i’ll check if cap works and get back to you

Everyone is required to make a roster post, to let others clearly see who’s in your team, and who’s available and who’s not

Also rmb that after a confirmed trade, you should update your roster post, crossing out the players or picks u traded, and add in the players or picks u got

Recently traded or recently signed is off
No picks reset
Some picks are ‘protection backup’ in 2k and is impossible to trade, i will notice one of you involved in the trade if you traded one of those picks in your trade sent to me, and you will hv to contact the other GM by yourself to see if other years picks works for them
Salary matching is needed for trades
If a trade brings a team exceeding roster spot, I will waive the lowest rating guys in your team to make the trade work, if some rookies are the lowest rating player in your team, i’ll try avoid waiving them, but sometimes they might be the one being waived too
If you don’t want this to happen, pls tell me who are you going to waive when you report the trade
Every team needs 14 or 15 players in their roster
It will be your responsibility to tell me who you waiving, if i ends up waiving a guy you don’t want to waive, there’s no chance of me helping you to restore the dude back to the team
If I rmb i will tell you who i waived, so you can take their name out in the roster
Trade confirmation:
If you see your trade is added into the ‘Official Trade Submission’ post, then your trade is confirmed
There won’t be separate posts of trades anymore
In season FA:
NO teams will be allowed to waive guys they don’t want for FAs to improve their squad, cus this will be unfair for some teams who didn’t react quick enough
The only way on signing FAs in season will be when your team don’t have enough roster spot to continue the season.
I will msg you if you don’t have enough roster spot, with a list of 5 best players from each position, i’ll also recommend you which position you should sign
You have a 24 hrs time limit on replying, if not then i’ll just pick 1 for you
FAs will be signed by first come first serve, so reply my msgs asap to get guys u want
Some FAs are idiots too, they don’t know to ask for a minimum, i’ll tell you if you can afford the guy when you tell me who you want to sign
If not then you can pick another player, also 24 hrs time limit
Injuries:
Injuries are ON, so rmb that depth counts as a factor of winning
Season will start on no injuries tho, so everyone’s healthy
Resigning players in season:
There will be NO players being able to resign in season, cus that will bring more workload to me, every FAs will automatically hit FA if they’re 1 year deals
Rotation:
All decided by CPU, i will not control anything of it

I’ll list out players who retired with a team

Reason on not doing the draft is cus in Switch there’s not a realistic draft class which is good, so i decided to just sim it, to save time in the mock

I’ll leave this all to CPU to decide, but CPU is not that dumb, they know to reject for example Evan Fournier’s 18M contract
Qualifying offer:

Idk if CPU is smart on this though, but i can’t set QOs for every team, so yea hopefully CPU do a gd job
FA:
All renouncing rights will be on AUTO, it doesn’t affect much as ends up all FA move will be controlled by me
I will have a separate post having all the teams cap space when comes FA
There will be 3 waves of FA, each lasts for 3 days, it will be 80+, 79-74, 74-
For every FA I will list out what they're expecting to get, and you will have to bid something either same, or higher for the expected amount
If it's a 15+M deal, usually longer deals are preferred, but for 15-M, there's a chance that players prefer shorter deals
Each team will hv a MLE to use every year, not rlly sure how it works, but approximately you will have about 9-10M to offer 1 FA
If you're teams over cap, you will just hv the MLE to offer to guys not on minimum
But if ur below cap, you can use up your cap room first, then offer your MLE
Every team have players on Bird Rights too, I'll also list out everyone who have bird rights on your team in a separate post
If you don't know what Bird Right is, it is a rule which allows the team to resign the player even if you're over the cap
Offering players contract using bird right will not count as using the team's MLE
After signing MLE and Bird Right guys, if your team is over cap limit, you will only be able to sign guys on minimum
Pls also rmb that you have to make sure 14/15 players are on your squad, don't exceed this amount or go under it
Offering FA:
Under the 1st-3rd wave FA post, please comment down your offers
Everyone will have 5 offers at most every day
If you want to change your deal up to outbid others, you have to wait until next day to do that, that will count as 1 of your 5 offers for the next day
FAs will decide where they going at the end of the wave, which means no FA will be signed at Day 1, everyone will have the chance to outbid deals

I will not give any info on that, just treat older players having decrease in value and rating, and younger players increasing in value and rating

In these mocks we encourage you to either go buying or full tank, to boost the amount of trades made in the mock to make it even more entertaining

SPECIAL:
Since we encourage full tank, and every team will have a Legend
If you trade your Legend you get a 5 GMP added to your squad
It will have to be a Legend traded for current players, it cannot be Legend for Legend. Legend for Legend is allowed for a trade, but it won’t add you GMP
So if you somehow did maybe Tatum for MJ, yes you will get the GMP
But if Pippen for Drexler, then no GMP will be awarded
Remarks:
Unlike last mock, there’s no restrictions on who you need to trade, or what directions you going, it’s all up to you this time
There won’t be any GMP to do with your draft or trading as I need to shorten my workload for this mock to happen
Winner:
I will allow tie in top 3, which means there can be more than 3 ppl in the top 3 GMP of the mock
1st in the mock, hopefully i can find you some advantage in next mock
