It's that time again. Someone is close to that top 50 featured creators list, and I am here to cover it. I am also going to cover a few more things as well that I found interesting that is going on inside the top 50 circle. Now, before I get into this, I track almost every active creators GM score trying to stay up to date and be able to expect or warn when someone is near or is getting near the top 50 spot. While I do track everyone's GM scores, I closely monitor the users once they hit 100,000 as that seems to be a runway for some as when I started keeping track of this DWhite4MVP was reaching 100,000, and now he is 58th. As I closely monitor those people, I then put them into three tier-like to be able monitor them even more. I have beginners for the ones who just hit 100,000 all the way to just hit top 100, these I monitor, but don't take them seriously yet. The second are the fast climbers which are the ones who hit 100,000 and just keeps growing in a fast pace, which I only have two on my list and I keep an close eye on in case. The last tier are the ones on the verge or the cusp of the top 50, these are the ones I monitor daily to watch their growth.
In that tier I last mentioned, there are only four users in that list which are DWhite4MVP, DeadGuyKawhi, AJGreenalwaysin, and Bdawg. All four are in the top 75 and I fully expect are primed to make it to the top 50 before this NBA season is over. I'm not going to talk much about these three at the moment as this post is more of DWhite's moment, but I don't expect either one to all of a sudden be basically touching home base so quickly as I expect each one to slowly climb their way up the ladder and should all reach it between March and May (that is unless they have to take a break or retire). And, as far as I can tell, I do not expect another Melo4MVPS and Surge moment where they just start piling on each other and causing a GM score avalanche like what happened last time, so all three will make it to top 50 at their own pace and guys like BobRoss, JoshHart, and Melo should be ways away from their way by then.
Now, let's look at DWhite4MVP, who is sitting at 58 like I mentioned. He doesn't have anyone on his back chasing him and he can now go on his own pace if he wants and just walk right in without trying to sprint and make a deadline or something. He expected to make it around Spring Break anyways, he will likely make it by Valentine's Day at the latest. From the last calculation I did, he is 21,207 away from number 50 and noticed that he is approximately getting 3,000 a day. With that said, I calculated that the rate he is going and if he keeps it up that he will reach that by next Wednesday (January 21st). He isn't far away from ShaiForMVP, and once he passes him he has Buki, Olseneli's old account, and ShooterMcGrady which are like real close in GM scores, so tomorrow he may be as high as 54. I honestly expect him to reach the top 50 earlier than I predict, I won't be shocked if I am on here Saturday congratulating him on reaching the top 50 and predicting who is reaching top 50 next between the three I mentioned above. Whatever happens, good luck and early congratulations!
Something else I want to cover is the Aussies are close to a few milestones. In the past six months, there have been five creators to reach the top 50 and only one has reached the top 40. That is Surge. Surge has been on pace and has continuously been improving and is on pace to reach the top 25 soon. Now, the number I will put out there seems steep, but remember that him and Melo were like 70,000 away from JoshHart when he made it to the top 50, and it took them a month to get to the top 50, so I do think Surge will hit this right after the All Star Game. As 25 is currently active, I am not looking at his GM score for Surge to pass, instead, I am looking at 24 as it is both inactive and averages 6 GM scores daily cause some idiot always clicks his pinned post whenever trying to open his "About Creator" tab, so I have seen his final post hundreds of times by accident. Also wants me to spread awareness to people who signed on their school accounts, don't do that or you will end up like that guy who is on a five month long coin flip that has yet landed on his alt. Either way, Surge is 68,836 away from that top 25 spot and will join a small list of current creators still active in T_S, lodge658, SchlenkSystem (semi active), WarriorsIn6, Totems (semi active), and eventually natskins7 and former number 1 holder leokevin188. Atto is not on this list due to his main account being inactive and him using his alt account.
We talked about one Aussie, let's talk about the other who brought it to my attention that he is close to the top 15. WarriorsIn6, which everyone knows as NafWarrior or AussieWarrior. But this also gets interesting as number 15 is SchlenkSystem who has been around, but was only around for the Trae Young trade and may come back for deadline stuff. If Schlenk really wants to maintain his top 15 spot, at least for now, it's maintainable and here's why. He is 19,161 away from number 14, and number 14 hasn't been active since he left back in August. If Schlenk keeps posting some banger trades, people will start gravitating towards it cause it is a big name and someone who was on here long before a lot of us were on here. With that in perspective, I have two set of numbers for Naf to remember, 73,571 and 92,732. The first one is the one closest to Schlenk's current GM score and the other one is the closest to number 14. Whichever one he ends up having to chase to get to 15, I still expect him to reach it around the same time frame as I expect DGK, AJGreen, and Bdawg to reach top 50 which is between March and May.
There are some fun stats and predictions for y'all. Also, I mentioned last time that T_S was close to the top 10, he is 7,256 away now. Let me know your thoughts on this, if y'all want to give me your predictions, or any other questions you might have. Let me know down below on the comment section!
