This year, Tyrese Maxey is the clear frontrunner to win the Most Improved Player award. Assuming he does, he'll follow a long trend of guys who evolved from being promising prospects to legitimate all-stars. While that leap is certainly worth recognizing, I often question if this particular scope of "most improved" is too narrow. There are lots of players who take big leaps without becoming all-stars (for example, Coby White and Jalen Johnson), and I think those guys deserve recognition, too. Do you think we should have multiple categories of Most Improved or keep things the same?
