Magic: C+ This was an overpay for sure but we definitely need him and he is a perfect fit, this could go up if we win the ECF next year and become a contending team, overall his contract isn’t good and we will now be luxury tax with Suggs Franz his and Eventually Paolo’s contract being all worth 150M+. We could have done #25 instead of #16 to make it more fair.

Grizzlies: A This is a pretty easy A, one of the biggest trades in terms of draft capital we’ve seen in years. They didn’t know how the team’s direction would go but they sold a decent player for 4 frps, a swap, and filler, now making them a rebuilding team or at least a retooling one. I think they couldn’t get a better offer, they are now a lot cheaper and have a bunch of decent picks like #16 in this years draftand a suns/wizards 2026 swap to give them young talent. They couldn’t have done better with this deal.
