Hot But Fairly Realistic Takes
Sacramento finishes with the 5th seed in the western conference with all three of Fox, DeRozan, & Sabonis earning an All Star nod.
The Pelicans start off slow due to poor fits offensively and move on from both BI/CJ at the deadline. Zion deals with multiple minor injuries which leads to him sitting out & New Orleans missing the play-in tournament.
Kawhi ends up missing the whole season and the Clippers finish as the 13th seed in the western conference, even with strong numbers from Harden.
The Celtics are upset in the second round Game 7 by a 76ers team who’s fully healthy & clicking at the right time.
Detroit surprises everyone by qualifying for the play-in tournament as the 10th seed. Tobia’s Harris proves to be an excellent addition & is the Pistons leading scorer.
